Let's try to repair Windows Installer (I assume it was correctly iinstalled at some point or you would have had many problems installing other software). Let's try the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility at:http://www.softpedia.com/get/Security/Secure-cleaning/Windows-Installer-CleanUp-Utility.shtml and see if that resolves the problem.

If that doesn't work, what is the EXACT message you are getting about Windows Installer and when does it appear? When did the problem start?
